Our visit to the reserve will be a week-long orientation for 28 members joining the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership (SNAP). During this orientation, members will meet each other, SNAP staff, and staff at the Host Sites where they will be serving for 11 months. Each day will include group meals and discussions, with topics focusing on: AmeriCorps, SNAP and the Sierra Nevada Alliance; a field trip to a local Host Site and related service project; environmental education and first aid certification.
